What is it? ·For all sake and argument a document camera is just a digital camera on a tripod streaming onto a computer and/or projector screen. Maybe, if you are feeling a little bit frisky you can add some desk laps for extra light. So my idea is to download the software to make it capable for you to stream an image or video straight from your digital camera.
How can you use it? ·Like all other document cameras this can be used to record video, use as an over-head projector, show examples, and take still pictures of projects and anything else in the world. ·This can be used in Science to show and record real-time example and samples. ·Art class can use it as a process to take pictures of projects. ·Math class can used my infamous Document camera to show examples and demonstrations.
Why would you use it? ·This is inexpensive ·The camera is not locked into one place ·Has optical and digital zoom ·Has a flash ·Can be used in many other areas and for several different reasons ·Easily stored and transported ·Some shortcomings to this new product are:
You may not be accepted as a professional by your peers because you don’t have a full-on $600 camera
